This FSEOG Grant is provided to eligible students enrolled in at least 9 units and with significant financial need. Priority consideration is given to students in high-cost or high fee programs who have completed a FAFSA by March 2nd each year. Unlike Federal Pell Grants, FSEOG funding is extremely limited. Irvine Valley College receives a specified amount of FSEOG funds each academic year. Once those funds are depleted, no additional awards can be made to students. Therefore, funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students will automatically be considered for this grant if they have completed the FAFSA by the March 2 deadline each year. To receive FSEOG, students must be eligible for the Federal Pell Grant.
