The 2017 Budget Act Education Trailer Bill, was signed by the governor on June 27, 2017, and includes language initiating a new grant program for California Community College students as of Fall 2018. The program provides funding to the California Community College Chancellor's Office (CCCCO) to provide for the supplemental grant for the 2019-2020 academic year (anticipate ongoing funding) to community college Cal Grant B recipients who have already received a full-time Cal Grant B award payment. All 114 California community colleges will be participating.

You will automatically be considered for this grant if you have been awarded Cal Grant B. Funding is limited.
This program is being run through the California Community College Chancellor's Office and funded through the California Budget Act, 2017.
